For private landlords and letting agents to stay ahead of the game, it pays to keep up-to-date with industry changes, developments and insights.
The Dispute Service publishes two renowned annual publications each year, to give the facts about the PRS industry. Packed with interesting expert insights, the latest Government statistics, and dispute data from Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS), the free reports have become a popular read amongst landlords, letting agents and industry professionals.
Every year we publish our Statistical Briefing and Annual Review to help raise standards within the industry, to make a genuine difference to the lives of landlords, agents and tenants. If you haven’t read our latest reports, you can download past and current issues for free below.

Annual Review
The Annual Review is a popular publication in the PRS with interesting insights on tenancy deposit protection. As well as revealing who raises most disputes and why, it explains how the Dispute Service operates and what we do to make a difference in the PRS.
Each Annual Review also highlights the work TDS and its partners have carried out to make the lives of our customers easier, whilst also giving updates on all the schemes that are operated by the Dispute Service.
Statistical Briefing
The annual Statistical Briefings pull together information from a variety of sources including Freedom of Information (FOI) data and statistics gathered by experts at Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS). Each new issue of the Statistical Briefing highlights the growth of the PRS, including the number of private rented homes and the average value of a deposit for a particular year.
It also reveals the levels of disputes across all three TDS Government-backed tenancy deposit protection schemes showing the most common reasons for disputes. This can be invaluable in helping tenants and property professionals to avoid future disputes.
