Our Company
TDS is the leading tenancy deposit and dispute resolution service provider in the UK.
TDS is backed by Propertymark, Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA). Through our charitable foundations we are working to improve standards in the Private Rented Sector. TDS is a not-for-profit company with offices in Hemel Hempstead, Glasgow, and Belfast. ​
Our origin story
TDS was established from concerns about the unfairness of the tenancy deposit system and our roots lie in creating a fairer and more professional private rented sector.
We do this by helping tenants, landlords, and agents deal with deposit protection and dispute resolution as quickly and easily as possible.

Committed to creating social value, we are invested in reducing disputes effectively, raising standards, and making life easier for businesses and consumers in the UK property sector and beyond.
Our Impact
Since 2007, TDS has resolved over 175,000 deposit disputes in England and Wales for free. This equates to public saving of over £175m, or more than £10m each year.
