We're thrilled to announce a significant change in leadership at TDS Group, the leading provider of tenancy deposit protection and dispute resolution services in the UK. Fay Selvan has been appointed as the new Chair of the TDS Group, succeeding the dedicated Martin Partington, who served as chair for an impressive 14 years.
A proven track record
Fay Selvan brings a wealth of experience to her new role. With a strong background in chairing Boards and Committees, she has previously held positions such as Chair of Jigsaw Housing Group, Trafford Healthcare NHS Trust, and the International Network of Street Newspapers.
Currently serving as the CEO of the Big Life Group, a thriving social enterprise, Fay's leadership has been instrumental in managing a turnover of £30m and overseeing a team of over 750 employees.
Selvan's appointment couldn't come at a more crucial time for TDS Group as it continues with its purpose to raise standards in the private rented sector (PRS) across the UK. Her experience with the Greater Manchester Fair Housing Futures Board has demonstrated the positive impact of collaboration between agents, landlords, tenants, and local authorities in improving standards in the PRS.
A vision for the future
Expressing his confidence in Fay Selvan's appointment, Steve Harriott, Group CEO, said, "Fay’s extensive experience and proven leadership skills make her the ideal candidate to lead TDS into the future. She is well placed to advance TDS' purpose. We are confident that under her guidance, TDS will further enhance its position as a key player in the PRS.”
In response to her appointment, Fay Selvan shared her excitement, stating, “I am delighted to be joining TDS at such an important time and I look forward to building on the legacy of Martin Partington and developing an even stronger TDS to help improve the PRS across the UK."
Under the leadership of Fay Selvan, TDS Group is well-positioned to tackle new challenges, promote greater collaboration, and uphold its mission of raising standards within the private rented sector. This exciting journey promises a brighter future for tenants, landlords, and agents alike.
